Canterbury Bells. A hardy and attractive old fashioned cottage garden favourite, producing huge branching spikes of long lasting bell shaped flowers in various shades of blue, pink and white. Height 2-3 ft.

Cultivation Advice Canterbury Bells

• Sow 5mm deep in seed trays from 10 weeks prior to the last frost for same year flowering.
• Seeds should be germinated indoors or under glass with warmth.
• Keep moist.
• Germination 14-21 days.
• Carefully thin or transplant young seedlings 12 to 16 inches apart when plants are about 2 inches high.
• Prefers a sunny or partly shaded position with well drained soil.
• Plant out 30cm apart.
