ORGANIC MICROGREEN SEEDS – CORIANDER ( SPLIT SEED)
“Coriandrum sativum”
A well know herb with a distinctive fragrance and a rich and complex flavour. Coriander micro-green leaves add the perfect finishing touch to countless dishes such as curries, soups and sauces and as part of a mixed green salad.
Whole Coriander seed is the complete seedpod that contains two or more seeds. We supply the split seed which makes germination much easier and more productive.
Cultivation Advice ORGANIC MICROGREEN SEEDS – CORIANDER ( SPLIT SEED)
Coriander (Cilantro) is difficult to grow hydroponically. We recommend growing micro cilantro in soil or suitable growing medium. Germination can be erratic with some emerging at about a week, and some seeds taking longer, so be patient with them.
Pre-soak seed for at 2-3 hours in warm water.
Sow quite thickly covering over with a thin layer of soil or vermiculite (1/4 inch) and tamp very lightly.
Prefers cooler temperatures (under 70 degrees), especially during germination.
Keep moist and humid.
Germ in 7-10 days with harvest in 21-28 days.
Cut as required fresh when leaves are young and tender
