Tender perennial that is grown as an annual, forming an attractive mound of small leaved green sprigs. Velvety, grey-green, oval leaves have spicy aroma. Pungently flavoured leaves and young stem tips are used fresh or dried to flavour meats, poultry, cheese dishes, soups, dressings and salads. Bushy plants are 12-24 inches tall. Marjoram can be dug and wintered over and grown in pots indoors for fresh use. This seed is supplied in premium pictorial packets direct from Italy. Cultivation instructions provided on the packet.
