Marrow Long Green Bush 4
A classic and reliable striped marrow variety producing good sized marrows on reasonably compact plants. Very productive and the bush habit is ideal for smaller spaces.
Cultivation advice Marrow Long Green Bush 4
Sow in Apr – May under cover in pots with warmth provided.
Germinates at 20C. Early sowings are not required and lower temperatures will hamper germination.
Ensure seedlings are transplanted to single pots prior to second leaves forming to ensure good root development.
Prepare growing location with ample rotted organic matter
Harden off before planting outside when at least the first set of true leaves have formed at 60cm apart from late May.
Protection from pests is recommended whilst young.
